Same thing happened to me. Thought he was a mate as I'd known him to say 'hello' to for many years, gave him £200 as a deposit for a job we needed doing and nothing. At first he did return calls and gave me all types of excuses for the work not getting done this went on for a couple of weeks then he started ignoring the calls completely and his voicemail was unable to take any more messages as it was full. I went to the store a few times but it was either shut or the owner, conveniently, wasn't there.
Clearly I've been had by someone I considered as a mate which makes me double angry. Have reported this to the Police and Trading Standards. If you've been ripped off by this firm I advise you do the same.

This guy is a thief. Took £200 off us as a deposit , said he only takes cash, came round to measure immediately so as to secure the sale, practically wanted to March us to the cash point, then closed the shop the very next day and ignored all calls. I'm so annoyed with myself, the writing was on the wall and I didn't listen to the alarm bells- what local shop doesn't take cards? I have since heard he has had rogue traders round there or some such group so I doubt he will be opening again. Absolute thief!

Absolutely over the moon with my new carpet, great quality,good price and prompt fitting...... Looks amazing i could'nt have asked for a better service or nicer people !!!! The owner Colin is a gem and so are his fitters, very quick no messing about ..... would highly recommend these guys to all my frineds.

Awful experience with this company. Really wanted to support a local firm but this firm didn't show up to lay carpets when time and dates were agree, refused to return my money so I've now gone down the legal route. A NIGHTMARE -AVOID!

Was pleased with Colin's friendly manner
Price was good and was pleased with the quality of the carpet.
Delivery was on time and Colin was pleased to deal with any after sales queries .
I have had 3 jobs in the last 6 months completed by Floor Crazy and I would be happy to recommend them !
